Having tried most shawarma joints in Guelph, I can confidently say this is by far the best I’ve tried. If you’re a fan of Syrian style shawarma (Saj bread) this should be on your list to try. If you’ve never tried Syrian styled shawarma, give it a try, you won’t regret it. We ordered a BYO (build your own) wrap with double meat. Great balance of flavours between the garlic sauce, hot sauce and veggies. The chicken was flavourful and cooked well. Our second dish was a chicken shawarma on salad. We ordered a fattoush salad base with pomegranate dressing. The garlic and hot sauce worked really well with the sweetness of the pomegranate dressing. When combined with the crunch from the pita bread chips in the salad it was a very tasty meal. Cherry on top is that we ordered from Uber eats and it came much quicker than expected. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Looking forward to trying many more items on their menu.

This is the best shawarma for my tastes by far, probably anywhere that I've seen in the entire 519 I sincerely appreciate that they never ever shave the chicken off the spit until it's crispy. Even if there's a lineup out the door, they'll wait until it's properly cooked Secondly, they shave the chicken extremely thinly which is the quintessential mistake 99% of places in all of Canada make. They are lazy, and never even shave it properly. This place does Lastly, the bread is obviously really great My big complaints are just poor customer service in the sense they don't listen to requests properly (asking for 2 pickles ends up with a handful of them. Why?) and there's zero seating Foods a 5 though for me

GREAT VALUE!!! Less than $9 for a small chicken on rice that lasted me two meals. Where can you find that in this economy. Garlic sauce is exceptionally good. They go HEAVY on the garlic sauce so if that’s not your thing, remember to let them know ahead of time. Meat is alright, decent amount, decent quality but nothing too crazy. Can’t really taste the hot sauce. The pomegranate sauce is nice. One thing to note is there’s absolutely no seating space if you were planning to eat there

As a family from the Middle East, we are incredibly selective about Shawarma, and let me tell you, this place exceeds all expectations. We actually drive all the way from Oakville just to indulge in their unbelievable Shawarma. It's hands down the best Shawarma in Ontario, period. Not only is the Shawarma exceptional, but the service at Shawarma.G is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always eager to ensure you have a fantastic dining experience. They go above and beyond to make you feel valued as a customer. One thing that truly stands out about Shawarma.G is their generous portions. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure! Each bite is packed with flavorful, succulent meat, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. It's a taste sensation that will leave you craving more. What's truly remarkable is that we would even brave winter storms just to savor their Shawarma again. That's how incredible it is! Went around 5.45pm on a Saturday evening and the place was busy but the service is fast and efficient. Not much room to sit and eat , it is all take out. Ordered a chicken fatuous salad large, it came to $22. The food was tasty and flavorful. Went again on a Saturday for lunch and ordered a large chicken rice plate, it came to around $18, good portion and quick service. The rice was moist and flavorful. The chicken could be more and I asked for spicy and they missed that however it still was satisfying.

I hate when people give 5 or 1 star reviews, unless they truly deserve it. I'm gonna give it 5 stars just to counter some of the dumb 1 star reviews (some employee may or may not have cut you off in the parking lot... I don't care... how's the food?). Food is okay, I've had better shawarma. The chicken was dry, maybe it was just the time of day I went in. Service was good, it was fast. Atmosphere.. who cares, it's a take out place
